I have posted elsewhere on this site but am in full panic mode. I have been trying to incubate eggs that my duck laid but have not been successful in getting any to to hatch yet. This morning I woke up to one that has piped. At 9 am I checked and there was a little x crack in the shell, but no more progress so far. I noticed that some how the water used to create humidity had spilled and there was a lot of water on the bottom of the incubator. I cleaned this up but I don't know how long the eggs were sitting in water. As of lunch time the egg will wiggle when I talk to it and peep a little but I really don't want to see more dead babies. Please help?!

@Lacrystol are you near?

I am not a hatcher, but I have read it takes quite a while once the hatching process starts - and yes, too much humidity is a big problem.

See if @madamiec or @learycow are around . . .
