Yep, they can take 72 hours from pip to zip.

Definitely. They usually take at least 24 hours from pip to zip. The longest hatch I've heard of took 54 hours.

I had one take 70, and I know @Isaac 0 says they can. They're so slow

72 hours is not that uncommon, although after 48 hours after the first external pip I would probably tear a few pieces of the shell off to investigate. Waterfowl are very slow hatchers, love to make us humans wait.
