Hatching early on day 19

I set my own White Crested Black polish eggs in the Brinsea Mini Advance and they were due to hatch in two days.
I didn't even get to fill the water pot up before we started lock down. Today was to be the last day of turning, but
this morning 3 our of 5 were hatched and the other two almost there.

Seems unusual as my Brinsea is so right on. Would it be the breed of chicken or the fact that I collected the eggs
and they got kind of a head start in development before going into the incubator?

They seem fine and healthy, but I am just curious and is there something for me to learn here?

Do you normally lockdown on day 19 instead of 18? Or are you counting the day you set them as day one? My last hatch over half of mine pipped late on day 19 but didn't hatch until early on day 20. More than a day early can signify higher than average temp during incubation. Bantams are known for being a bit early as well.

X2 with AmyLynn. I hatch mainly polish chicks and they usually start pipping day 19 and hatch day 20.

Thank you. Yes, I do count the day I put them in the incu as Day 1. Temp. always holds steady in my Brinsea.
Lock down is usually Day 19. But, this is day 19 and they are all here, bright eyes and bushy tailed - peering out at
me wondering where the food is. ha.
Always something to learn!

P.S. These are the 'Cutest' chicks with that little topknot!
I think all chicks are cute, but these are something else.

Congratulations on your chicks Would love to see some pics of them! Day one should start after a full 24 hours of incubation. So say you set on a Monday at 9am day 1 would actually be Tuesday at 9am day 2 Wednesday at 9am day 3 Thursday at 9am and so on.

Oh wow!! They are gorgeous, I just can't get enough of polish. I think I may have to set some more eggs soon my babies are 6 weeks and 3 weeks now. I'm missing having any in the house!
