Can someone please let me know how old hatching eggs typically are? Can you candle them when you get them to ensure they are viable, or are they too young? Thanks!
Chicken eggs can be candled at day 4-5 to check if they are fertile, and duck and goose eggs wait till day 7 or 8. You can not tell when you get them, unless they are cracked.
