In the Brooder
Hi,
So I have a mixture of three breeds in my incubator at the moment. Yesterday was day 19 and the first one pipped at around 21:00 that evening. Not much has happened which I was ready for but it has now been around 25hours since the initial pip, which I know still isn’t abnormal but around 6 hours ago from what I can see the chick slightly has its beak poking out of the egg and we have had no movement since then. Now given that since the first pip this chick was always on the move and was able to see fluids moving inside the shell but can’t see a thing now. I am not going to intervene in any way shape or form as I do not wish to jeopardise the safety of the other pipped eggs. But as this is my first time I was wondering if this is a lost cause??
