I live in redding so have some very hot summers! My SFHs did great in the heat. I have both crested and non-crested birds but majority are crested.

Papa, what does the 2 stand for on some of the eggs? 2nd generation, 2 days, 2 hen house? Just wondering. Thank you for packing them so very well not a single one was damaged and for getting them out so quickly. [IMG]
I was surprised at how heavy the BCM eggs are, wow! The W are the BLRW, correct? and thank you for all the extras, this is going to be fun......

Yay! glad alls well! the "2" is just a second breeding pen. So if you can track them you can breed those to the ones without the 2's for greater diversity as they will be unrelated. :)

Just wanted to let you know that 4 of the 9 eggs you shipped me have hatched the most beautiful little Swedish Flower Hen chicks. 1 unfortunately died while hatching. 2 were early quitters. 2 were scrambled in shipping (I think). There are 2 light ones and 2 dark ones.

I received my eggs perfectly packaged, thank you. Out of the 10 sf eggs 4 were no good either not fertilized or early death. Was dissapointed I did not receive any extra eggs. They have 4 days to go.
