Hatching Eggs By The Moon Thread

    I am giving this a try I set my eggs on the 24th of July they are due to hatch on the 14th of August.

    How interesting! My broody just started to set in the last four days or so... I wonder if the hens naturally set by the moon... What were May dates? I had some chicks hatch out on May 26th under a broody.

    Cool thread. My duck set her own eggs by the moon on July 17th lol. She is due 30 days from then since she is a muscovy.
    I wonder if hens naturally set thier own eggs by the moon.
    I have certain nightblooming flowers and cacti that will bloom on a full moon. They bloom intermittently but often really put out a huge flush around a full moon.

    I think my chicken eggs will be here in time for an early august set date.. but I think the turkey eggs i have on order are going to be late... yeah.. trying shipped eggs again.. lol.. maybe someday I will learn!
