Want to hear something really funny. I traded eggs with a guy in KY. We both shipped out on the same day. He wrote hatching eggs on his box. The post office calls and says we need to come quickly because we have eggs hatching out. We all just laughed and laughed. The thought the eggs were already hatching!

I tried the round egg hen/ pointy egg roo theory. of 6 eggs I set 2 hatched, 1 is a hen and 1 is a roo. so... guess its 50/50 chance! My husband heard this from an old timer.
Someday i will try this again.

It's a shame when people get their feelings hurt, I'll admit that. And I'm sorry if my comment hurt anyone's feelings. I could have been more sensitive. But on the other side of the coin, I do think it's important that people realize that not everything is a matter of opinion. As ChickenCop indicates, there are such things as facts and errors, and it's important to have the facts straight if you're going to try to advise someone else.
