On the goose eggs, you really only have to turn them 2 xs a day? What about the spraying with water thing, and at what humidity?

I'm still looking for Pilgrim eggs, though I'm thinking of just ordering some from Ideal- it would be faster and I could be sure of getting extra geese to ganders

I have one pair of pilgrims left.
But yes to the spray thing...and the turning
its better to turn thm more
but you can get away with 2x somtimes they come out with 6 pounds heavier on the left then the right

Are your Pilgrims good layers compared to other breeds of geese? I know they are a slightly smaller breed of geese, and generally speaking, the smaller the bird the better the layer.

Might you have any eggs available? Though I should probably just bite the bullet and order the stinkin things from Ideal.

Due to several complaints, the BYC staff looked into this seller and found he is AKA TOFFowner, who was banned on both BYC sites as well as other selling sites for dishonest selling practices and fraud. This person is also a minor, which brings into play the legality of responsibility after the fact. TOFFowner was only allowed to sell for pick up only so that the customer could see what they were getting and to make sure they actually got what they paid for.

While the Staff are aware that some members do grow up and become better citizens (and we hope this is the case here) we felt that a warning was entirely proper in this instance.

If you buy from this seller, be aware of the past and go forward with your eyes open.
