Hatching eggs from the store?

Yes, it can happen. They got lucky.

You could get a dozen 7 to 10 day old eggs which hatch at whatever rate ..... and you could get dozens of eggs, none of which hatch.

There are a few threads on this .... I started one, others have too. Searching is good
