Hatching eggs - how soon do you have to start the incubation?

I'm getting some hatching eggs from different places and want to coordinate the incubation. How many days can I wait until starting the process so they all hatch together?

Can I hold off a couple of days? A week? Is that too long to wait?

A couple of days would be ok....but anything after a week would lessen the hatchability rate. Whatcha gettin???

Thanks for asking... I'm getting some Marans eggs from Bev Davis in FL. She's got really good ones. And I'm getting some Barred Holland eggs from Duane Urch in Minnesota. This breed was suggested by Speckled Hen since I wanted white eggs, but also wanted a more easy going bird.

This is my first try at hatching so it'll be a little scary.

I have heard nothing but good things about her birds.
