So I’ve brought my two eggs inside due to it icing outside, my hen won’t sit in them so I have them in a box covered by a towel and on a heat pad at 90F. Is there anything else I need to do to ensure that they can hatch? Or anything I need to change?
Also the eggs aren’t getting a lot of heat from the pad, and they are supposed to hatch today and tomorrow

Did you take these eggs away from a broody that was setting them or...?
It is far from ideal to try to hatch out eggs on a heating pad at 90F (too cold) with uncontrolled humidity.

Can you get a hold of an incubator? Perhaps borrow one from someone? You’ll need to control humidity, especially during lockdown.
