Hi and "Happy Easter", I wanted to ask for some hatching advice since I've never hatched duck eggs & these are a very speacial breed I'm doing.I'M putting them in my Brinsea and my chick eggs in a new LG. Is it best to use a turner or by hand? What should the temp & humidity be at? Can I put chicken & duck eggs together? Please give me your ducky wisdoms. I have 4 eggs from a Mandarin and really pray they hatchout for us. Any advice is appreciated. ;^)

Well, if you're using an LG-get yourself a turner and save yourself the aggravation of turning by hand. If you're gonna do chicken eggs in the LG with a turner and no fan-the temps need to be 99-101 anywhere in there is fine. As far as duck eggs-hang on someone will be here soon!!

Thank for the reply, the chickens I know about. What I don't know if you can mix 'em in the same incubator OK . I'd like to get them all into my Brinsea together and save the LG for hatching.

we are hatching all of our eggs together (chicken duck goose) all at the same temp and I am running the humidity at 55-60% during incubation then up to 70% or so during hatch. I have a turner and spritz all eggs a couple three times a week with great results.
