Hatching eggs quality

I agree with Fairview01, I have never seen my rooster mate any of my 9 hens yet I'm getting 100% fertility and just hatched out 9/11.

He does that now. He kind of growl/purrs when he finds food and they hens come to investigate. I was building a second coop for the meat birds and cutting roof metal and he literally ran a hen in circles around me while cutting metal with an angle grinder. Its LOUD, I mean I can't do it without ear muffs and they acted like I wasn't even there. They had the entire yard, but she wanted to play hide and seek from the rooster near me. He did care and just wanted some.

We are going to paver the runs to be able to clean them better. Its a chicken shyte mess right now. Probably fix the new coop and transfer them in there while we fix that run. I built the roosts so they didn't have to stand in the mud. Then hens come out in the morning and sometime run and jump right to a roost in the run. Thought of maybe removing it before we plan to hatch eggs.

We got one RIR went broody and she is sitting on a dozen of the large eggs I picked out. They went in Mothers day and I guess in another 4 -5 days we will find out if any are growing veins or all just duds.
