I have 3 eggs under one of my girls. This is new for me, hatching eggs, that is. I have some questions I hope some folks will answer for me.
1. The eggs were laid today, June 4th. How long will it take for the eggs to hatch, if they hatch.
2. Do I need to do anything to help mama hen?
3. Do I need to keep mama hen in the smaller pen, away from all the other girls?
4. When and if the eggs hatch, I let mama do all the teaching. How long do I keep them all seperate from the other girls?
5. Can I offer the chicks layer pellets or do they eat a special beginner food?
6. If my broody hen decides she's not broody any more and one of my other girls goes broody, can I put that hen on the nest for her to hatch the eggs?
