Hatching eggs recieved today

question....Do i need to let eggs sit overnight if i recieved them in mail today before i put them in incubator?

I've heard anything between a couple hours and 2-3 days in order to allow the eggs to settle after being shipped.

I waited 2 days.

I would not wait a few days. The eggs are already aging, which reduces hatchability. The most I've waited was 6-24 hours to given them time to settle.

give few hours and set them in.

The fresher, the better. I've put shipped eggs in immediately, or as soon as they warm up if they are cool, and have seen no difference in the hatch rate. I have never waited more than 12 hours.

I wait about 6 hours then...to the bator they go!

I had to wait 2 days anyway... my 'bator thermostat went weird. Was good I didn't put them in when I got them, or they'd all be fried.

Well, it might spike later and fry them anyway.

I have done it both ways and also found no difference in the hatch.I have some sitting out right now waiting on some in the mail today..both will go in tonight I just wanted only one hatch date.
