That is what I use. You said you did dry incubation--good, that is the method by which I and others have gotten the most success. Please do keep us updated with the progress of your chicks! I just finished up a 70% success hatch yesterday (not as high a percentage as I would've liked, but I had some genetic issues in my flock that made some of them pip the wrong end of the egg, and drown)
What temperature have you kept the incubator at?

haven't really used another thermometer outside the one built into the incubator which is me just being lazy. Going to pick up another thermometer for later hatches. Yeah the shipping eggs success rate is less than 50% so it add more worry to the plate.

well none of the eggs hatched. Not sure what happened but haven't really checked them or candled them during development. Not sure if humidity was too high or the dry incubating killed the embryos ;/

That is such a pity. Did you open the eggs to see what may have been the problem?
While not pleasant it can tell you so much and is a really important tool in the whole learning curve.
Not being able to candle the eggs initially would make me want to know so that I could work towards an improvement next time.
It would tell you if the eggs were initially fertile or not. It would tell you at what stage any or all of the chicks stopped developing. This could assist you to point towards an issue with the incubator itself.
It could inform you about the possible health of the parent stock or the presence of any infection.
The list is long and open to debate and supposition but it is a great tool.
Here's hoping for better results next time.

Bought some black copper maran eggs off ebay and currently in lockdown with them. Wasn't able to candle them so not sure if any are fertile or not. Did some dry incubation pre lockdown and now my humidity is between 75-80%.  Not expecting good results because of the nature of shipped eggs but fingers still crossed . Last time only hatched 3 eggs out of 20+ but those were from my own flock 

Will keep you guys updated on results. 

I am a first time incubator and not sure I have locked down properly I have 12 guinea fowl eggs on day 30 two have hatched
A few questions for the experts
1 I have removed keets as soon as they are dry as per incubator instruction should I have waited till they all have hatched?

2 what when and how do I candle?

3 second keet looks
Like it has a deformed foot will that correct?
