Hatching eggs that are different ages.

Hi Everybody,

We purchased twelve hatching eggs for our broody Cuckoo Marans. We put six under her on the evening of May 16th. We put another six under her May 19th. Do you think we have a chance of hatching the later eggs? Or is three days going to be too long if the first six hatch on time?

Why would you of not put them under her at the same time?
There's always a chance but in my experience by the 3rd day after a hatch the hen has left the nest with the hatched chicks.

Sorry for not being clear. We had twelve in total but we received them separately as two lots of six over the dates mentioned. I thought we may have to be lucky for all to hatch. We had committed to purchasing the second six but there was a delay at the suppliers end.
