    Hi everyone!

I have a broody sitting on 7 eggs which are a go for hatching right around March 5. We will not be keeping these chicks and I was wondering how long should she be allowed to raise them? I know that I could get them homed at a few days old, but in order to keep her a happy mama that just did all that work? Or if I were to keep one, would she be satisfied with one chick if the others went to new homes?

    Thanks in advance!

Hiya we'll you will have to keep the chicks until they are about 6 weeks old as they need heat until then and then I am sure they will be ok Hope this helps.
