Hatching eggs

The chick just hatched!!! Whoop whoop. He appears to be stuck to the inside of the shell by his umbilical cord? Is that ok? Should I leave him alone or do something?

Sometimes happens. As long as he is not causing it to bleed let him be and it will dry out. Once it is dry if it does not fall off you can cut it. Just make sure it is dry and not circulating blood. If it does appear to be bleeding get some thread and tie it off. After it is tied off you can cut it between the thread and shell. The part you tied will eventually dry up and fall off.
