I’m getting 8 fertilized eggs soon to slip under my broody hen. First time ever! Is it bed time leave her with the flock or place in her own area? We have a second coop I can move her to. What is best for her and potential new babies?? I wanna do it right for babies and momma

If you move her you run the risk of her going un-broody. But I have moved broody hens before and they have still stayed broody so it depends on how dedicated she is to being a mom. They always seem to pick the most inconvenient spots so sometimes it is necessary haha.
If they are eggs you are paying for you may want to find someone with an incubator for backup just in case she gives up.

I did purchase an incubator just in case. My first broody is a Cochin and I’ve just had a Salmon Faverole go broody so I’m hoping between the two. I wondered if I could move them together. If they jump ship I have my incubator. I hope they don’t
