Hi my frizzle hen just started laying eggs this her first time and how do I know if she is sitting on them,she has 4 right now but how many can they have when they start sitting on them

She won't set them unless she becomes broody.

Her hormones will cause her to want to incubate and hatch eggs instead of just lay them.
When a hen goes broody, they stop laying and won't leave the nest except once or twice a day to poop, eat, drink and maybe dust bathe.
When you reach under them to collect eggs, they may do any or all of the following:
Bite
Peck
Screech
Puff up like a turkey
Flatten out like a pancake
When they come off the nest, they are ornery and walk around clucking like a ticking time bomb.

My frizzle hatched her eggs and now she is sitting on some more,I don't remember who asked what did flip and flop meant but it is my two frizzles names because of their feathers thank you for your response
