Hatching eggs

Louanne,
I have the same incubator and I use the following:
98.5 - 99 degrees F
try to maintain 38% humidity, but do not refill until it falls until 22%. This is for days 1-18.
On day 19, I remove turner (if you use one), then crank up humidity to 65%.
I have produced many hatches with these rules this year. Prior to this, I was using higher humidity and drowning the chicks once they pipped the air cell or not gaining a large enough cell in the egg. I do believe it has a great deal to do with the placement of the incubator in the home, humidity variation in the home, and humidity variation /weather in the region. The best advice I can give is try, try again with cheaper eggs until you master what is best for your region, then move on to more expensive eggs.

That's okay sometimes 2 plus 2 doesn't make 5 oops I mean 4 to me. I really appreciate the advice tho.
