Lately I have had very good hatches with chicken eggs put in the hatcher for lockdown vertical in styrofoam egg cartons. Has this worked well for anyone with turkey eggs? I have never tried.

I'd like to know as well because I've got thirty five that I'd like to do the carton thing with along about the seventeenth.

I may just try an experiment over the next few weeks comparing on the side to styrofoam crates as I have way more poults cooking than I can use, sell at break even or give away. My 10 hens are laying about 7 eggs per day--today 10 YIKES.
I have advertised them on BYC and craigslist with very few responses. Then again I do not have a recognizable name or reputation in the poultry world. May have to resort to EBAY.

What kind of turkeys have you been advertising Mike? Sorry, but I haven't seen them but I'm getting ready to fill up another incubator about mid-week next week.

Midget White, Auburn and a mixed pen with a Narri tom, 2 bronze hens carrying Narri, 1 Beltsville small white and one Sweetgrass.
