Hi This may sound stupid but when someone says they will say the send me day zero eggs, what does this mean.

Does the incubation process only start when i put them in the incubator and its 21 days from there?

if so how long can the stay viable before they are put in the incubator?

Thank you in advance

Day zero eggs are sent the same day as they have been layed. They should go into the bator within 5-7 days. Some will say 10... but the sooner the better. it is 21 days to incubate. They will not start to develope until they are set, so yes, its 21 days from when you put them in. and 21 days is an average... they can hatch anywhere between 19 and 25 depending on circumstances .
I have been setting on the day I want to hatch... I work during the week, so I set on Friday night or Saturday morning... and keep myfingers crosed cause I wanna watch! . Good luck... sounds like you are getting ready!
