i have never hatched eggs before, im planning to start though! i know literally nothing about it, any information would be great!

temp should be 99-100 farenheit
humidity is 40-50% for the first 18 days
humidity should be 55-70% the last 3 days
they hatch in 21 days
i made my own incubator but for a first time hatcher i would buy one
turn them 3 times a day
you need a brooder when they hatch
i use a large plastic tub with hay in the bottom
you need a light for heat
feed them chick starter feed crumbles medicated or non medicated
you need to leave them in the bator for 24 hours after they hatch or until they are completely dry
they should have water and food after out of the incubator
i almost forgot you must not turn them or open the incubator the last 3 days this is called lock down
you must not open the incubator while they are hatching because they can get shrink wrapped
they can go outside when they are fully feathered
any other questions just ask!

good luck!

how do i change the humidity?

you can add or remove water. sometimes i have to take all the water out of the jar because my homemade incubator evaporates water really fast. are you buying or making an incubator?

sweet. those marks you made on the eggs are for turning them right? and i know you said rotate them three times day, but how often? every three hours? also do you rotate them 90 degrees or 180 degrees every time you rotate them?

i put an x on one side and an 0 on the other. you just turn them from one letter to the other. i turn them at around 9 in the morning, 3pm and 8pm.
