My first hatch i had two that could not get hatched....I left them for awhile, but like you I could not stand it. I am so pro-life that i felt I was letting it down. One died, so I got on line and found help! You can help them by putting them down in lukewarm water carefully not to drown them, lay them back in the incubator, wait and see. I f they are still having trouble since you have moisten their skin ,you can help pick off the shell, but only a little, for they are tired and cold, put them back in the incubator and maybe the hole will be large enough for them to push themselves out. If not wait awhile ...maybe 30 minutes, then repeat being very careful not to pull the skin and make it bleed.THE ONE I DID THIS WAY LIVED AND IS LAYING EGGS FOR ME AS I TYPE. I wish I had tried this with the one that died...couldn't have hurt anything and I would have felt better!
