I'm considering hatching a few Emu eggs just for fun. Does anybody have any advice that would help me?

Type of incubator
Length of incubation
Temp/Humidity
Turning
Etc.

Thanks!

knowing nothing about incubating emu eggs, I recomend that you do NOT use a broody emu. The very thought is terrifying. Also, what do you do with it when/if it hatches?

I hatched one out of 13 emu eggs last year in one of my sportsman incubators. I won't do it again. It tied up the whole incubator for 50 some days because they incubate at a lower temperature than all other eggs. I know some people have had success hatching them in LGs or Hovabators. I don't remember all the particulars. There is some good incubation and other info on this site.

An interesting fact. In nature the male emu incubates the eggs!
