Is the site having copy and pasting problems?

1. Go into TextEdit > Settings and enable this plain text format:

2. Create a new document. This should now be in plain text format.
3. Copy something that would ordinarily give you trouble, and paste it into this TextEdit document.
4. Finally, copy that text OUT of TextEdit and paste into BYC.

This should strip any formatting from the text you're trying to copy/paste. Not a great solution, but it could be a workaround. I have to do this myself from time to time.

If that doesn't work, I'm out of ideas (aside from system level stuff that I don't feel qualified to suggest, like an SMC reset, etc.)

Going through the TextEdit worked. It means a few more steps, but it beats composing the text from scratch. Thanks!

I'm still curious as to why I can't paste from the mail folder as I've been doing for nearly two decades.

For what it's worth, I can select text and have the option to Quote today. Bye.
