will fumes bother it?? I have an egg that had a visible chunk size of a used pencil lead and about as long on an egg but you don't see it unless over the light do you think that is a shin shell will be more like a crack.. just wander if thin shells can make bad eggs.

This late in the game I am going to do nothing, I thought about the nail polish, but that's more if there might be a leak. Dent is close to the aircell so I am just not going to do anything, not going to turn anymore either. I do have moisture in incubator so it won't dry out. Thanks though.

discovered another hiccup.. my dates are on the ends of my eggs and they lay on the side. I have a range of dates and some are going to be checked on the three days you arnt supposed to turn eggs wouldn't be such a problem if I didn't have to look through them to see ones that are to be checked for groth... or does it matter about lock down a few ive read no biggy others swear by it.

You don't have to candle on a schedule, but it would be better if you could turn them. That's hard to do while in lockdown, which is why many people use separate hatchers.

I do have a good incubator, so I don't plan on moving it, I may in a few more days move it to a hatcher, but I am waiting for a couple of chicks I have to get their sealegs, before I put them in with the week olds. Then I can snag their lamp and put it in the hatcher

Your bundle of fuzzies looks a lot like my bundle of fuzzies! I have no idea what mine are, many feathered feet and puffy cheeks, some with stripes, some with spots. Some gray, some cream, some caramel colored.
