Hatching first batch of eggs question

    Hen sitting on eggs and have some extra in incubator. Q: Can I sneak the chicks from the incubator in with her chicks once they hatch? Or will they try to kill them?

    Yes you can, and maybe, maybe not. The more alike in color and size they are, the better it usually works.

    Mother Hens cant be fooled...She will either except them or kill them....

    Oh, they can most definitely be fooled lol. I've done it plenty of times with incubator and shipped chicks.

    Only saying what could happen...It never works all the time and depends on breed and the Hen.....
