I am hatching eggs for the first time in 10 years and there was some great BYC forums that helped me along. I am now trying to relearn what I did in the past. I was usually very successful. Now I am located in FL and wonder if there is not some specific things I need to know due to the humidity here. I did most hatches in the mid-Atlantic during the dry season so I believe there may be some things that needs to be taken into consideration. Please advise.

What's the humidity like inside your house? I would plug in the incubator and let it run with no water for a day to see what the humidity is in the incubator. It may be as simple as not adding any water to your incubator. Do you have a hygrometer?

Great idea. I was going to sanitize and let it dry in the sun today. I do have a hygrometer for hatching. I will set it uo today in the room we will set up the incubator to see what it is in the room. Com Sunday evening we can setup the incubator and will monitor it for temp and humidity. Thank You.
