I have been mentally torn to shreds you should have seen my baby die.

It was like it had a seizure in the shell It just started to scream and shake violently.

I'm so sorry.

It's the 21 day, and I have no pips, and they aren't moving. I would be devastated if none hatch. I'm crossing all my fingers and toes.

Thanks for the offer but I couldn't take yours. I will get over it and by Monday I will be back in school and I will probably be all better. besides I am all the way on the east coast.

I have 1 pip! And it is on my own silkie's egg

I have eggs from BamaChicken in there, plus some button quail eggs, nothing doing on those yet

I hope I get some to hatch!

I didn't do it intentionally (not realizing when it would be due), but I have one due to hatch today. I'd set six, but only one grew. It's externally pipped right now and when I talked to it, I heard it making noise in there like when they're absorbing their yolk.

I only opened to put more water in for humidity.

i have many hatching at once. the humidity spiked to 83% and is going down, but do you think I should crack the bator to let moisture out? i still have pips and zips in there and I have to leave for a few hours tonight...please give advice.

I would crack it open a little but remember this with my bator it seems that it is one second open is the equivalent of losing 1% humidity.

ok...it is at 76% right now...the chicks are going nuts in there. the shells are getting in the way!! should I remove some of them as well? or just leave well enough alone
