Here is a little video of one of mine hatching! Not very good lighting in the barn and the camera man...umm, woman

was not very good either! I just watched it on here and you can;t see as much as I could see on the recorder, but you can hear the peeping!

Ok so here's Speedy! He's out and 2 others are still working at it...one piped upside-down and I don't think hes made it

another is still not even internally piped...keep all of your fingers and toes crossed!

I heard cheeping coming from the 'bator!! No pips yet, and tomorrow is day 21!!

I finally have a PIP!!!!! I am so excited!! The first one is just now starting!! This is day 21 for me!! I hope it makes it out!! This will be my first hatch ever!!!

I am gonna be up all night!!!

Day 21 is tomorrow but my first hatch ever decided they wanted to be Valentine chicks. I had 6 eggs in the bator and at 4pm today the first hatched. The first and second to hatch are now in the brooder. The third and forth are in the bator still. Still waiting on numbers 5 and 6. Number 5 was the first to pip this morning and still nothing. Number 6 hasn't pipped yet.

No Valentines chicks for me. It was just too tiny and weak I guess. Raising chickens is harsh at times.

ok..the hatch is over! it really was a weekend ordeal. I ended up with 20 fuzzybutts. started with 36, after day 14 candling ended up leaving 28 in the bator. 3 SLW, 5 BR, 8 BBS, and 4 Am. i'll post pics shorty!
