is it the same as hatching chicken eggs (but longer) or do i have to take the eggs out for 15 mins per day to 'cool' and spray them daily with water (as a number of sites suggested?)

one of my geese have started laying and im pretty sure the other is a male so am 'hoping' the eggs may be fertile

the one laying has been leaving them all in the same spot and the other seems to 'attack' when i collect the eggs (but i dont want to leave them out as its freezing out there)

I hatched my goose from some eggs, and I did it the same as I did a duck once in the home-made incubator, just flipping a few times per day in an egg carton.

That said, maybe there's more reasons that the homemade incubator that I only got one goose out of a half-dozen eggs.

It's a little different then incubating chicken eggs... humidity need sto be higher and you are supose to spritz them and cool them for abou 10 minutes a day... Here is a link to a candling video on youtube if you are planning on candling them to check on them during incubation...
