There's a feed at TSC (not sure which one cause I just get the cheap stuff) that has marigold as part of the pellet to achieve those orange yolks
Many feed have marigold/extract in them.

*I don’t know much about hatching so sorry if anything I said doesn’t make sense
If you don't know, don't post ;)

I really like skulls for some reason.
I do too.
Have a bunch of them....might be good to start a thread.

Tracking! :pop

I probably missed it, but how were you able to tell the eggs were fertile? I’ve read there’s eggs sold for eating specifically marked “fertile”, and then I’ve read of people getting fertile eggs for eating at Asian markets.

I also saw some mixed color eggs at Walmart the other day called “Carol’s Heritage Eggs”. Anyone have any experience with those?

Im really tempted to try some next spring!
Long ago, many here were hatching Trader Joe's fertile eggs.
But they were clearly marked 'fertile' on the carton.
Not sure if any of your store bought eggs hatched but I think that if there is a possibility that the eggs are fertile it has to say on the carton. The only successful hatching that I know of have been from Trader Joe's.

So I am going to try to hatch grocery store eggs. I thought it would be a fun project. I am going to try hatching “Happy Egg” eggs. I saw that someone else had success in hatching their eggs so why not try it myself. They have Marans (I believe BCM) and i believe lohmann browns and what they call speckled legbar. I don’t even know what that is so if someone else does please tell me. I have 3 light blue/green eggs and 4 maran eggs. I didn’t have any lohmann brown eggs though. I can’t wait to see if they will hatch!View attachment 2389800View attachment 2389802
I thought grocery store eggs couldn't be hatched?

I am in LOVE with that snake! What kind is it?
She was a garter snake, I catch and release them. I absolutely love snakes. I’ve caught a few. Here’s some snakes I’ve caught this year (corn snakes, garter snakes and black racers). These are all different snakes but I’m not gonna share all the snakes because it’s too many pics.
