Hey guys im looking for some advice. I got 7 hatching eggs and started them January 14th. I have a nurture right 360. I have kept the humidity around 50% and the temperature at 100.5. I do not have them in direct light and I have kept their area warm with a space heater that I have been monitoring with a thermometer.(our house is cold so I keep it at around 77 degrees)
I have researched how to do this and have really tried to follow the advice as best as I can(advice can vary a bit)
Out of the 7 I only have 2 left as of today. The two left look very strong. The air pocket looks good as far as I can tell.
I don't know if it matters but I leave in a fairly dry state. When I have taken the lid off of the incubator to candle the humidity percent drops to 2 - 4%.
I hope thats not too much information but I wanted to make sure I covered it all. I really don’t want to loose these last two but I’m not sure what could have gone wrong to try and prevent it.
Does anyone know if Harlequins are hard to hatch?
Any advice would be amazing!
Thank you!

We're the eggs shipped? It could be down to the time of year if you are somewhere wintery too. Shipping is tough on eggs and winter reduces fertility. It sounds like you've been doing everything right.
The eggs were fertile but they were also shipped 😕 thank you for the feedback! I appreciate it!

x2 on @JaeG's post. Shipped eggs can develop and make it to lockdown, and still not hatch successfully.

Were the air cells damaged when you initially candled them? And did they grow normally during incubation? Air cell size is a useful indicator of whether the humidity is optimal.

Best of luck with your remaining eggs!

The air cell looked good. Wasn’t very big to start but has reduced to what would be normal. The ones that died had veins and seemed to be doing ok. There wasnt as much movement in those as there currently is in the two that remain. Thank you for the advice on humidity. I will keep an eye on it and hopefully these last two will survive. 🤷‍♀️
