Once you get it stable at around 65%....Yes, let it resta couple of hours and then peep and tap the top of incubator for a few minutes ...It encourages them to wake up and try harder...Ducklings are lazy little buggers..Keep giving him sleep periods as he needs...I'm excited too....

Just checked him noticed that the white lining he seems to be chewing on is turning yellow do you know what that means

Normal...Put some oil on that dryness...It happens...As long as the humidity is right and its awake and trying its good...

Usually 24 hours after that first pip...Lots of time...Baby will rest and wake up off and on during it's time absorbing the yolk...Dont panick...Its doing great...

Ty so much he's all tucked back in I'll up date on a bit phone needs to charge more

He's out more like half way but his foot seems stuck above his head I removed some shell only above it to maybe make it easier to bring it around he's been busy seems to be in a hurry or maybe uncomfortable not sure what to do I'll be up all night I know it's late sorry​
