Hatching Help!

Yes all but the but end he's still hooked to the yolk so I wrapped him tight in damp warm paper towel put him back in the incubator but he wouldn't stop trying to get out and he was chirping up a storm so I re wrapped him and now he's also wrapped in a blanket and I'm holding him and he's been sleeping ever since

Should I give him water or be doing more how long before he absorbs the yolk like I said yesterday he's a day early his sibling started tapping to get out this morning g hope that goes smoother

Ok he's awake what if he pulls on it trying to get up or out of the rest of the shell

They can go 24 hours after hatching without feed and water..I usually put out feed and water in the brooder once they are moving around...I make a soupy mix it's easier for them to eat..That way they get food and water. I also provide dry and water..I peep and quack to them and use my finger to encourage them to eat and drink...

So I should put him back in the incubator until it falls off or he pulls it off he wants to get up and go I guess that's a good sign
