hatched duck eggs a few months ago and only had one successfully hatch (5 days early) after a week over due I opened all the eggs VERY carefully in the hopes that they were still alive. The wernt. 1 hatched, 23 fully formed but dead (we had a heat wave that week so I'm wondering if that messed them up). Well I've been incubating more eggs, duck again and yesterday morning one hatched!! Beautiful baby ducky happy as a clam. But now none of the other eggs have even pipped and I'm scared I will only have one hatch again. Last time we were able to track down a duckling to pair with it with only a week difference in age but I don't think we will this late in the year especially in our area (northwestern ontario). I don't know what to do!!!
Actual due date is tomorrow

Since you hatched one chick 5 days early, I would look at calibration of your thermometers as the most likely issue.
As an interim measure, if you can't get them calibrated to your satisfaction, I would run the incubator a full degree or two lower.

Will this help the eggs that are in there now?
