do i need to get them a small little drinker or what? all comments welcome..

Chick starter mash or crumbles depending on what is available to you. If your hen is free ranging she will teach them what is food and what is not. You should however still have feed and water available to them. Chick feeders and waterers are available at most feed stores at minimal cost. They will not need to eat right away as they are still absorbing their nutrients from their yolks. Usually about 72 hours. You can tell when thehen finally gets up and leaves her nest.

Go to your local feed store and ask for 'chick starter'.
They have medicated & non-medicated. Since your chicks
will be outside, (am I right?) I would go with medicated, as
it helps prevent cocci. They need fresh water at all times,
and they will drink on their own

You may need to show
them where it is, and be sure it's shallow enough for them
to get a drink, and not drown if they fall asleep in it. X2 at

I wish you the best of luck!
