Hatching incubator help please

Being disabled allows me a lot of time to do this. Although today I did do three local transport for the dogs on my kill list in the county. And trust me that's 20 a week so we lose a lot we lost 75 in one day 2 weeks ago when they were killing in silence. But that's another story
Interesting I love doggies!

What do you do...pick up dogs at kill shelters and bring them to no kill places?
:pop

I pick up and transport. I foster. I find rescues. I do street rescues to keep them out of the shelter here. I transported 3 today. They are not afraid to kill here. It is a big mess w CCPD over a/c. I speak at meetings. I march. Whatever it takes to save them

Awe you are too kind.
I wish I had the time to rescue puppers.
There are way tooooo many here in my city. :(

I got my 4 egg hatch brooder.
The temp is 96.6 & humidity is 70. I will be moving my eggs over sat. 1 is dated the 7th and 1 is dated the 9th. I am thinking of getting some embroidery plastic to put in there over the 4 egg slotted plastic. I dont want their feet to get caught after hatcing. Any thoughts on this?

Do you have a brooder that will be warm and ready to go?
If so there is no reason you can't take them out as soon as they hatch.

I pull my all mine out pretty quickly.

What about cutting a piece of cardboard or something to cover the entire bottom.
Do the little holder things come out?

I have a set up that I used for my chicks. I tried a piece of that non slip stuff but it greatly reduced the heat and humidity. I got the 4 egg hatch incubator because all of my eggs have such different dates...?

The holders do come out...but leaves direct contact to little heater and oddly shaped wells. It is frustrating. If they weren't all at such different dates I would leave them in my original homemade styrofoam incubator that has gotten them this far but if I did that when it's on lockdown time I would not be able to turn the eggs that are at the latter dates

I've only hatched a handful of times but I will tell you that I have opened my bator a million times during lock down and during hatching and I have never had one problem.

If you are quick and careful I don't see a problem.
