Hatching Jumbo Pekins

We are hatching duck eggs in our classroom at school. In previous years we have had success. Our day 28 was yesterday. We had one duck hatch early on day 27. It seems that none of the other duck eggs will be hatching. When we put them into lock down, they were all moving. I went to candle a Jumbo Pekin today, day 29, and heard it peeping from inside the egg. Do Jumbo Pekin's take longer to hatch than other eggs? Do we help it hatch?

Jumbo pekins should be the same hatch time as any others. As far as ive read now i have no experience

are they at the school? if it were me ide monitor for noises and make sure they get an exrernal pip to breath

I have had normal md duck eggs hatch as late as day 30. Lower temps will make things take longer. I struggle to get the temps consistent for 28 days with my cheap incubator.

May I suggest that you candle the remaining eggs and check for signs of life?
