My question is that my first and second hatch I left the brooder in the house. Which i had 31 on the first hatch and 39 on the second hatch. The third hatch i had only 29 baby chicks. i moved the brooder in the chicken coop and i am down to 8 baby chicks. I don't know if it has to do with me getting the eggs when it was to cold or bad hatch or i had bought some chickens and brought themhome and got all my chicken sick got them well but the Production red chickens is eating the baby chicks food. and also think they might be carrying the sickness and not sick and maybe that is why my baby chicks are dying. please help

I am having trouble understanding this. Have you lost all but 8 chicks out of 70???

Hoping to bump this for clairification.

no i sold the first and second hatch. the third hatch which was 29 and down to 8

Do they have pasty bottoms or show any signs before they die? Are they getting too cold? What & where are you keeping them or what might be different from the other two hatches? Are the eggs from the same place as the first two hatches?

I am leaning towards them getting cold since you didn't have a problem before they went outside.

none of those. They are in the production reds coop in the brooder that the temp is staying around 90 degrees
