well! i was not expecting this! i thought no one would be hatching
around that time!

Candled last night (yup, I know it's a little early, but I couldn't help myself!) and looked like 6 of 9 are showing signs of developing. Of course there's still hope for the other 3...

I have a bit of a dilemma. I have another batch of eggs coming tomorrow and I won't get them into the 'bator until Sat morning, letting them rest for the night. I had planned for all eggs to arrive on Mon or Tues and these got 'rerouted'. So now I'll have a really staggered hatch. I asked and many BYCers do it safely, but I'm such a noob I'm worried that when I up the humidity for the hatchers I'll mess something up for the late eggs. They were expensive and the ones I really wanted! Oh well, nothing I can do about it. I just have to do the best I can and hope for a good outcome. Maybe I can cobble together a 'hatcher' but I'm not very handy nor is my husband.
