hatching problems

There is movement in egg but Air cell is not getting bigger and thus morning when i checked it there was notHing in the air cell...my other egg they on day 29 has piped air cell already

I have 4 hens eggs on lockdown - set the eggs at 1pm on 18th May - I started with 6, 1 was discarded at day 7 no development, 1 was discarded at day 14 early quitter - 4 were alive and well at day 18 - this is my first time and I am using the Brinsea mini Eco - I recon they are due to hatch about now - do I need to do anything else ?

No signs of any peeps yet - I can't hear anything over noise of the fan running but no movement or any signs of anything :-(

You need to read the incubation guide but until pipping your incubator should have low humidity. I would also candle but look inthe sticky topics and its further down in this section.

Thanks Pete - just quickly candled 1 egg and popped it back in - chick still moving so maybe I just need to be patient

When do most people start up their incubators for hatching their geese's own eggs. I am still going to allow my geese to hatch their own. I put 5 eggs in my incubator to see if they were being fertilized since they just started laying and making a few weeks ago. Today was day 2 in the incubator and I can already see two eggs are indeed fertilized.The reason I wanted to find out is i am starting to sell the egg for hatching my breeds are i have 2 females a touluse and a embden and the male is a roman tufted.

Sounds like a nice mix, they'll be some pretty goslings. My geese aren't even mating yet so no goose eggs yet here.

I NEED HELP!!!!!!! I have a goose egg and I don't know what to do! I candled it and it has a giant black spot, a air sack, and some veins. I have just been turning it and I read that you are supposed to mist it so I sprinkle water on it everyday and I found it so I don't know how old it is... :-!
