2nd chick is out!

EVeryone is giving great advice. They are like popcorn.. takes a while to get heated up but when they do....watch out . my 11 day old coturnix finished day 17 with only a few pips and my girlfriend was worried sick and was asking the same things you are. Well 17 days and 14 hours into ( following morning) they were popping out everywhere. Had 25 out of 29 good eggs hatch , 2 partialIy zipped and 2 never tried!! Point of my story ....wait for It..

I am so glad!! I find baby quail absolutely enchanting. I fell in love with my babies quickly. Make sure you set up your brooder in a nice, draft free spot. You will also need gamebird starter.

Eeee so cute! I got 8 I think that's gonna be it but I'm going to keep my incubator running. 8 out of 24 is not the greatest number but its better than nothing.
