Be aware that unlike other breeds serama come in a variety of sizes. Many people prefer to use larger birds for breeding stock as they are often more productive. All of mine are considered Micro, class A-8 to 13 ounces while B and C birds are a pound or more. While I think serama are the best for hatching quail eggs, other, somewhat larger breeds, would probably do as well.Thanks I guess I’ll look for some sermas
