Hello, I have 3 female quail and one male. He is mating with 2 of them quite often so I'm pretty sure there eggs are fertile. I want to hatch them out but none of the females are broody. I have a broody pekin bantam at the moment and I've heard of people hatching out quail under chickens, do u think that would work

I just recently hatched some quail under my bantam Cochin. Of 5 eggs, she hatched four. But she did squish one of the babies unfortunately. I think next time I'll let her brood until "lockdown" then put them in the incubator.

Yes I was considering doing that especially since I want to tame them, thx

Some people have success getting coturnix to go broody. This is usually achieved with a natural setup. Button quail tend to have a slight higher chance to go broody.
