Eggs fit better and can hold more eggs. Most chicken egg rails hold 40 or so eggs Quail rails will hold 120 eggs and fit better for better turning.

Yes, the quail rails are better than the chicken rails. They hold the egg better, and you can set more eggs, than with the chicken rails. Also, I found that having to make an insert or the quail eggs, so that they would sit in the chicken rails without falling through, was a PINTA!!!!
